The Simpsons as we know it is the longenst running animated show.  Since its debut in 1989 it has become one of the most successful cartoons for all ages.

Anyways wasn?t it supposed to have a spinoff Wiggim PI. A tease of Magnum PI.

How come that never took off?

Here's something I don't understand, Is film companies not marketing to the right demographic. In my opinion if film companies would actually market their films at the correct demographic for their content, then perhaps they'd actually be successful with the damned things. Take for example, Sequels. So some companies will release a sequel to a film that came out like 10 years ago and aim it at the same demographic as 10 years ago. Grand, right? WRONG, here's why this doesn't work. For example say it was an animated film series it was for. Basically your problem is that anyone who was a kid then, is gonna want something a little more "adult" or "mature". if anyone gets what I'm hitting on here. But apparently in today's world we can't seem to explain anything to Hollywood, They just will never learn. eventually when the film industry implodes on itself then just maybe they might start listening. everything these days is violence, sex and **** stereotyping. that's about it, and for a quick bigwig buck, Boring right?

So in retrospect as I personally see it, The problem is that their penchant for power and greed will never let up. they're part of the reason the US is in a deathgrip financially because of these biog companies wasting our taxpayers money on these **** films that no one gives a **** about. Unfortunately in the US, The big money dictates EVERYTHING these days, Typically just a bunch of red coated bigwigs laughing their way to the bank cashing that check that could've went towards repairing our economy. A crying **** SHAME that we've fallen this far away.
